Terrell Dance Union

The Terrell Dance Union is a non-profit organization created to exclusively support the educational resource needs of the Dance Department at I.M. Terrell Academy for STEM and VPA.

To raise funds for the purpose of assisting with the program needs of the Dance Department of I.M. Terrell Academy such as but not limited to choreography, costuming, set design and props, printed and marketing materials, hospitality for it’s dancers and guest artists, travel expenses of the dancers, Dance Department faculty, and its guest artists.

To support and uphold the vision, mission, core values, and goals of the I.M. Terrell Academy Dance Department.

The Terrell Dance Union is a non-profit organization as described in section 501(c)(3)

College & Career Readiness

The Terrell Dance Union financially supports the Terrell Dance Department's College and Career Readiness Program, by providing International residencies for its students to enrich in.

Community Impact

The Terrell Dance Union funds and hosts Fort Worth Dance Festival, where studios, high schools, colleges, pre-professional, and professional companies all came together to perform and enrich the lives of Fort Worth students and community patrons, in an effort to raise funds for the Terrell Dance Department.

Create Access

The Terrell Dance Union finds creative solutions, year round, to gain financial resources to support the vision of the Terrell Dance Department. Despite the global pandemic, the Union was still able to raise over $10,000 dollars with school being online, hybrid, or out of session. The Terrell Dance Union never stops searching for ways to support its constituents.
