Teaching Defined by Christen:
I listened to a TED talk that said "School is a place that children who are loved go to to learn, and children who aren't loved go to BE loved." This encapsulated my idea of what teaching is. Teaching is the opportunity to develop children/people to be their best selves. To teach is to constantly volunteer yourself for the greater good, to inspire them to always strive for greater, to encourage the failing moments as a means towards to success, and to provide them with opportunities to be loved, lifted, and catapulted to the place their hearts desire.
